About the course: Oakcreek Country Club, designed by the famous father-son team Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr., is truly a work of art. The 18 hole, par 72 championship golf course is nestled among the red cliffs of Sedona, Arizona with unparalleled views and course design that is a masterpiece. The golf course has a traditional layout similar to those you can find in the Midwestern United States. In typical Trent Jones fashion, the fairways are classic tree lined doglegs with fairway bunkers strategically placed in the landing areas and the greens are all slightly elevated and surrounded by large swirling green side bunkers. The course is “player friendly” and leaves a lot of room for error, but always offers the opportunity to recover and put bad shots back into play. The golf course covers 145 hectares including three lakes. Water comes into play on the first nine holes #4, #6 and #7. On the back nine, water comes into play twice at holes #10 and #18.
