wild beauty premiered on Netflix on May 12 and subscribers immediately stopped what they were doing to see what the South African thriller series was about. Viewers were definitely not disappointed with all of the drama and twists and turns in the first season. Since there were only six episodes, many people have already watched the entire first season and are wondering if there will be a second episode. We shared what we know about a potential wild beauty Season 2 below.
wild beauty follows a woman named Zinhle Manzini who, after a traumatic past, seeks revenge on the family of beauty moguls who wronged her. Rosemary Zimu starred as Zinhle and gave an incredible performance. Alongside her in the cast were Dumisani Mbebe, Nthati Moshesh, Jesse Suntele, Oros Mampofu, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Angela Sithole and many others.

How many seasons of Savage Beauty are there?
There is only one season of the thriller series and it is currently streaming on Netflix. As already mentioned, the first season consists of six episodes. Episode running times range from 43-54 minutes long.
Will there be a Savage Beauty Season 2?
Possibly! As of May 18, Netflix has not renewed the show for a second season. However, this is not a cause for concern. Netflix typically waits about a month after a show premieres to decide its fate. We’re a week from the season one premiere, so I’d say it’s early in the process. The streamer needs more time to see where viewership will drop before either renewing or canceling the series. Keep in mind that there are other factors at play in Netflix’s decision-making process besides viewership.
The first season ends on a cliffhanger, so there’s definitely more to talk about. We’ll just have to wait and see what Netflix decides. In the meantime, keep streaming wild beauty to increase the chances of the show being renewed.

Since wild beauty hasn’t been renewed yet, we can only share our predictions on the release date. Our best guess when wild beauty Season 2 could come out on Netflix sometime in 2023. But the longer it takes for the show to be renewed, the further the Season 2 release date could be pushed back. Hopefully Netflix will be renewed wild beauty soon!
