Who Killed Sara Season 2 Recap

Season 2 of Who Killed Sara arrived on Netflix on May 19, 2021 and began by answering some of the mysterious cliffhangers that have kept fans in suspense throughout season one.

The big revelation from the season 2 finale is the revelation that it was Marifer, Sara’s best friend and Alex’s ex-girlfriend, who was behind Sara’s death. This is shown in a flashback where she cuts Sara’s parachute cord and she also admits to killing Sara while talking to Alex and Elisa at the Lazcano Casino.

Speaking of Lazcano Casino, their business empire faced brutal battles and was on the verge of collapse in Season 2. Chema went to the police to admit to the murders of Moncho and Abel Martinez. Although it was actually Cesar who killed Abel. Cesar and Sergio buried Abel’s body in the backyard, and Sara cleaned up the mess and hid the camcorder in the gold sculpture she took from Nicandro’s house. Chema just wanted to get his family out of trouble and take the blame.

Until now, viewers believed that Marifer was the one who killed her former best friend. Although in the final scene we see Nicandro going through files with a Medusa logo, he then calls Dr. Alanis and explains that no one can know that they were behind Sara’s death.

Now that the person behind Sara’s murder is back on the air, it’s certainly high on the agenda for season 3. The final season has been confirmed to be the final episode of the show, so who actually killed Sara will likely be revealed at the point in time the seven episodes.
