The Burj Khalifa holds a plethora of world records – so many that it’s in our Hall of Fame.
But have you ever wondered what it looks like inside? Or how much it costs to live there?
Let’s take a look at what kind of lifestyle you could lead if you were to move out into the world

The Burj Khalifa has 163 floors – a record for the most floors in a building – with 900 apartments spread over levels 19-108.
Studio apartments can sell for around AED 2 million (£448,000; $544,000), while a four or five-bedroom penthouse could cost you over AED 100 million (£22 million; $27 million).
Don’t forget the service fees, which vary depending on the size of your apartment. At the higher end, they can exceed AED500,000 (£112,000; $136,000) per year.
As a Burj Khalifa resident, you have access to all the amenities inside.
There are four swimming pools; one on level 43, one on level 76 (formerly the world’s tallest pool in a building), one on the roof of the club and one inside.
The Club is a four-story health and wellness facility with spa services and two gyms in addition to the pools mentioned above.
Bookworms can head to the library on level 123, or if you’re more into puffing on a Cuban, the cigar lounge is on the 13th floor.
The sky lobbies on levels 43, 76 and 123 can also be used as a venue for gatherings, events and visitors to show off your home’s stunning views.
Another great place to watch over the city is World’s highest outdoor viewing platform on the 148th floor. Called At the top, Burj Khalifa SKYit is 555 m (1,823 ft) above ground.
From here, when the tide is low and the sky is clear, you can see the coast of Iran, which is about 153 km away.
If you’re hungry after all that swimming, smoking, and watching, head to Level 122 for dinner the atmospherethat used to be the world tallest restaurant in a buildinguntil Heavenly Jin Opened in Shanghai, China in 2021.
the atmosphere has a seating capacity of 210 people and offers you the opportunity to dine at the grill or to mingle in the lounge.
And if you want to lounge around, The Lounge is the place to be on the 154th floor. At 585 m (1,920 ft) above the ground, it is the one in the world tallest bar/lounge in a building.
Alternatively, if you want a quiet night, you can buy a few sundries from the Burj’s grocery store. That’s right, you don’t even have to leave the tower to shop for groceries.
If you need a break and fancy a vacation, you don’t have to leave the building for that either.
Located on levels 1-8 is the 160 room Armani Hotel. The hotel offers a full range of amenities in addition to the other amenities offered at the Burj Khalifa, including a private pool, library, spa, exercise facility, 24-hour room service, and concierge.
An additional 144 suites comprise the Armani Residences, located on levels 9-16. These one and two bedroom apartments have been personally designed by Giorgio Armani.
Whether living in a self-contained building that you never have to leave sounds like your personal paradise or a prison, there’s no doubt that Burj Khalifa’s residents have it good.
The only scary aspect seems to be navigating the many floors!
But don’t worry, because the elevator held a record earlier than that highest elevator in a buildingable to scale 504 m (1,654 ft) in a single climb.
