Wahoos Weekly: Virginia Cavaliers All Sports Dates – Aug. 24-30 January
The full schedule of all Virginia Cavaliers sporting events for the week of January 24-30 is below. This week, seven Virginia sports teams will be in action at a total of 10 UVA sports events.
The Virginias Women’s Basketball The team is looking to get back on track when the Cavaliers play in Syracuse on Thursday night before returning home in Charlottesville on Sunday night to face No. 12 Virginia Tech in the Commonwealth Clash.
The Virginias athletics The teams have another two-day indoor competition this weekend and travel to Happy Valley to compete in the Penn State National Open on Friday and Saturday.
The Virginia tennis teams host the ITA Kickoff weekend at Boar’s Head Friday through Sunday with an invite to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. The UVA women’s tennis The team welcomes Washington State on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and the winner of that game meets the winner of Ole Miss and Princeton in the championship game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Likewise the Virginia men’s tennis The team welcomes Nevada at 12 p.m. Saturday and the winner meets the winner of Ole Miss and Princeton in the championship game at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The UVA wrestling The team continues the ACC game while the Cavaliers head to Chapel Hill at 7 p.m. Friday for a game against North Carolina.
The Virginias Men’s Basketball Team, which has won five games in a row and is now ranked 7th in the country, hosts Boston College on Saturday noon. The Cavaliers then face a quick turnaround as they travel to Syracuse for a rematch with the Orange at 7pm on Monday.
