Virtua Fighter NFTs combine “blockchain-based NFTs with three titles from the Virtua Fighter series”

Another day, another attempt to get you excited about NFTs. This time it’s Virtua Fighter co-creator Yu Suzuki who is collaborating with NFT company OASYX to create 1000 Virtua Fighter NFTs.
Accordingly VGC (opens in new tab)The NFTs will “serve as the basis for future Metaverse avatars” and will “contain 11 characters from the first three Virtua Fighter games,” integrating them into the creative worlds of OASYX to deliver “a unique and exciting experience for new and old.” Create fans of Virtua Fighter like”.
“During my tenure as a director at Sega, I first developed Virtua Fighter using cutting-edge 3D computer graphics technology that was state-of-the-art and industry-leading at the time,” said Suzuki.
“Since then, the Virtua Fighter series has become popular with many players and continues to be supported by numerous fans today.
“Through my work overseeing the development of OASYX’s unique worldview, I am excited to combine innovative technology in the form of blockchain-based NFTs with three titles from the Virtua Fighter series to bring new entertainment to a wide spectrum of gaming creating fans.”
Square Enix also recently lifted the veil on its first NFT game (opens in new tab), and from its calls for participation in blockchain-powered information wars to its promise to put three players in charge of its own future, Symbiogenesis seems incredibly complex. We think Individuals who own one or more of the 10,000 character NFTs have access to that character’s unique story, which then provides clues on how to complete the game’s quests and missions.
