Tyga buys Avril Lavigne an $80,000 custom diamond necklace

Tyga makes sure Avril Lavigne matches his bow tie.

The 33-year-old “Rack City” rapper dropped a whopping $80,000 for a custom diamond necklace for the 38-year-old “Complicated” singer, which he gave her on Thursday, according to TMZ.

New York City-based celebrity jeweler Eric Mavani told the outlet that the necklace contains 50 carats of black diamonds, white diamonds and pink sapphires.

The necklace also has Lavigne’s first name spelled out, a pair of letters A above pink hearts and two skull heads and crossbones below.

On Friday, Mavani shared a video of the new jewel on Instagram with the caption, “New piece for the legend @avrillavigne ☠️💗💎🎀”.

Lavigne appeared to be loving her new jewelry as she wore them in Los Angeles and posted a selfie showing off her new ice cream.

Tyga – born Micheal Ray Stevenson – reportedly asked Mavani to make the custom piece three weeks ago – around the time Lavigne’s reps confirmed to Page Six that she was breaking off her engagement to Mod Sun, 36.

At the time, Mod’s rep told us the split came as a surprise to him.

“They had been dating for three days and engaged when he went on tour. So if anything has changed, that’s new to him,” his spokesman said.

Despite the split, Lavigne and Tyga lit up Paris Fashion Week, attending several events together.

The “Sk8er Boi” singer wore a black and white tartan pleated skirt and an oversized white shirt with black lettering on the sleeves as she and her new beau sat front row at the Ottolinger show on March 6.

She completed the look by sporting heavy black eyeliner, silver-soled platform boots and multiple chain necklaces.

Meanwhile, Tyga wore loose gray cargo pants and a matching gray jacket with an orange fleece lining. He also paired the look with a black t-shirt and diamond stud earrings.

The pair then attended the Mugler x Hunter Schafer party, where they made their romance official by kissing and walking through the crowd holding hands.

The next day, Tyga and Lavigne attended the Y/Project show in matching long leather coats.

The “Girlfriend” singer paired her leather outerwear with a Y/Project clutch and sunglasses, while the “Taste” rapper paired his trench coat with sunglasses and an icy chain.
