Tom Cruise has praised the upcoming DC superhero movie The Flash after being shown a screening of the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Cruise did not appear at the Oscars, which took place on Sunday, due to filming commitments for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part II in the UK.
