In 2023, the upcoming series titled Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROAT is coming to the streaming site. aimed at playfully toasting every guest who is in the hot seat that day. The 45-year-old quarterback is an executive producer on the show and will also be the roast’s first victim.

Brady’s press release started the jokes early, referring to him as “Gisele Bundchen’s husband” and an “NFL sixth-round draft pick.” “To quote my good friend Marshawn Lynch… ‘I’m only here so I don’t get a fine,'” the athlete commented when announcing his special.

Robbie Praw, Netflix’s vice president of stand-up and comedy formats, also had no problem holding back the jokes in the statement announcing the exciting collaboration. “We can’t wait to burn up three-time Super Bowl-loss quarterback Tom Brady, who only returned to the NFL to delay this roast,” Praw said.

“Seriously, it’s a huge thrill to be collaborating with the greatest footballer of all time on this project. Nobody is better at taking a beating and still coming out on top, so we know the roast will be a no-brainer for Brady.”

After the end of the 2021 season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback shocked the world when he announced that he was retiring from his professional sports career. However, after only two months of retirement, he revised his statement and announced that he would be returning for the upcoming season. While Brady is still expected to feature on the field in the 2022 season, he certainly appears to be busy with plans post-season.

The roast is set to come after the upcoming season, and alongside that project, the father-of-three also shared his career goals when he officially retires. As soon as he hangs up the jersey, a job as an NFL analyst at Fox Sports awaits him.

Even off the field, the man doesn’t seem to shake significant career advances! No wonder he’s consistently called the greatest of all time…
