Bob’s burger has always known that the devil is in the details. From the changing names of the storefronts in the opening credits to the punny burgers of the day, the show constantly rewards fans for taking a closer look.

This attention to detail follows Bob’s burger where it’s going, even if it makes the leap from television to the big screen. With the release of The Bob’s Burgers Movie Coming soon, eagle-eyed fans have noticed Bob’s burger cleverly hinted at one of the film’s plot points — something that Kristen Schaal, the voice of Louise Belcher, also hinted at on Twitter.

The trailer for The Bob’s Burgers Movie reveals a sinkhole is opening in front of the restaurant, causing trouble for the Belcher family. However, this sinkhole will not be a development that comes out of the blue. Since several users of the Bob’s burger subreddit have pointed out the sidewalk above Bob’s burger has deteriorated during the show’s currently airing twelfth season, and even a little during season 11. Basically, the sinkhole of the movie has been forming under our noses the whole time!

However, the Bob’s burger Team didn’t just rip a crack in the sidewalk and call it a day. They also changed how characters interact with this part of the pavement. Instead of simply walking the sidewalk, background characters stumble and stumble, sometimes even glancing at the crack to draw attention to it. These are subtle moments, but for Bob’s burger Viewers so used to scanning the background for additional jokes, these quick stumbles speak volumes.

In a Zoom interview with Mashable, Bob’s burger Creator Loren Bouchard spoke about the crack indicating a collapse.

“Once you knew [when the movie was coming out]You could start watching the episodes on a schedule and say, ‘Okay, these are the episodes that will come out before the movie, the fans, and what kind of breadcrumbs might we want to see?'”

The Bob’s Burgers Movie released on May 27th, just a few days after Bob’s burger Season 12 finale. So, fans of Bob’s burger You can jump right into the film from Season 12 and enjoy a sense of continuity, even through something as seemingly small as a sidewalk crack. Bouchard said, “If you’ve watched the last few seasons, we wanted to make sure that whatever information we had on the show tied well with the movie.”

However, Bouchard thinks you don’t need to have seen any of them Bob’s burger to enjoy The movie “Bob’s Burgers” when it Definitely works as a standalone movie. Still, there’s something beautiful about the inclusion of the sidewalk detail in the TV show — and viewers’ theories as to how it relates to the film. It’s proof of that Bob’s burger‘s dedicated fan base and the creative team’s enthusiasm to engage with them.

“The things that the fans like to find are the things that we like to put in,” Bouchard said. “We have a good relationship there.”
