CLOSE GAMES AND NO REENTRY. THESE ARE SOME OF THE NEW POLICIES A DISTRICT IS MAKING A FEW DAYS AFTER A SHOOTING IN A SCHOOL GYM AFTER A HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME. NOW THE Middle School District IS MAKING CHANGES after someone was shot after their game. SOME OF THESE CHANGES INCLUDE NOT ADMITTING FANS IF THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS. STUDENTS MUST ALSO BRING ID CARD TO PROVE THAT THEY ATTEND THESE SCHOOLS AND IT MUST BE WEARED AT ALL TIMES. NO FIREARMS, NO WEAPONS, NO BAGS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE UNLESS THEY ARE CLEAR. MIDDLE SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND AN EDUCATIONAL COMPANION. Now, back quickly, just to that shooting, police say a man was shot and killed at the Del City Millwood game last week. THEY SAY IT WAS AN 18 YEAR OLD WHO OPENED FIRE. Mid Del School District is making changes after a gunman fired multiple shots on campus grounds. They will also not let in fans unaffiliated with the participating schools. No firearms or weapons are allowed. Students must bring ID to prove they are attending one of the schools and this must be carried at all times.
