Why should humans have all the fun? Hyderabad-based dog lover Kiran Kumar. K believes pets should have their due too, so he created a lounge called Felica where pets can shop, eat, be groomed, exercise or swim, or just lounge around on the grass. The Cafe is a place where your feathered, furry and pawed friends can do all of this in a friendly, clean and safe environment.
Kiran, owner of Felica Lounge, is a dog lover who is familiar with the restrictions pet parents face when traveling with their pets. Some pet parents don’t like leaving their furry friends at home when they go out, but most restaurants don’t welcome pets. “Even if they do, they can’t roam freely. I wanted to create a place where friends could be released with paws, have a choice of food and most importantly run and play on natural grass.”
Built on 2850 square feet, Felica is designed with dogs in mind. It features a pebble-laden parking lot, high perimeter walls, and pet access that can only be pulled from the inside — to ensure it can’t run away — and pet-friendly seating. When pets pee and poo, a designated person will clean up right after them. The favorite place of all dogs here seems to be the dog pool, where they – even water-shy puppies – are taught to swim with the help of helpers.

A nursing team ensures that the nursing area is cleaned and washed before the next customer comes in.
Felica is really a lounge where you can relax and unwind with your pet as they organize breed specific meetups and pool parties and also arrange birthday parties for your dog.

The meetings make it easier for pet owners to arrange play dates and help the furry ones to make contacts. The dog menu consists of a choice of dry food or cooked food with meat and vegetables. Felica hosts weekly breed (dog) meetings, expert talks on nutrition and grooming, dog pool parties, etc.
In the meantime, people don’t need to feel left out. Felica also has a decent menu of burgers, pasta, sandwiches and buns for her.
