The holiday season is in full swing! To help get you in the holiday spirit, ET Canada has compiled a list of Christmas movies, from well-loved classics to new releases, available to stream in Canada.
“Christmas Falling in Love” (2022)
In this recently released vacation film, Lindsay Lohan returns to the big screen as a “newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress” who ends up in a skiing accident and suffers from total amnesia. “The Noel Diary” (2022)
In this upcoming festive rom-com, Justin Hartley plays a best-selling author who returns home for Christmas “to sort out his estranged mother’s estate.” There, he discovers a diary that may hold secrets from his past, as well as that of an “intriguing young woman on a mission of her own,” played by Barrett Doss. The Noel Diary will stream on Netflix on November 24th.
“Happiest Season” (2020)
This vacation drama follows Abby (Kristin Stewart) who decides to propose to her girlfriend Harper (Mackenzie Davis) while she’s spending the vacation with Harper’s family. However, Abby’s plans are thrown into disarray when she realizes that Harper hasn’t come out to her conservative parents yet. Stream Happiest Season on Netflix.
“Christmas With You” (2022)
Love has a surprise in store in this vacation flick in which burned-out pop star Angelina (Aimee Garcia) “escapes to fulfill a wish of a young fan (Deja Monique Cruz) in small town New York, where she not only finds inspiration, relaunch her career, but also a chance at true love.” Freddie Prinze Jr. plays the father of this young fan. “A Christmas With You” is now streaming on Netflix.
This hilarious musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic fairy tale stars comedians Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell. The official synopsis reads: “Each Christmas Eve, the spirit of the Christmas present (Ferrell) chooses a dark soul to be reformed through the visit of three spirits. But this season he picked the wrong Scrooge (Reynolds).” “Spirited” is now streaming on Apple TV.
“Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” Night of the Lights Holiday Special (2022)

“A Christmas Carol” (1983)
Set in 1940s American Midwest, this film follows the misadventures of an eccentric boy (Peter Billingsley) as he evades a bully (Zack Ward) and confronts a surly father (Darren McGavin) while daydreaming about the only what he wants for Christmas is a “Red Ryder airgun”.
