stranger things Season 4 introduced fans to a new main character named Argyle, a pizza delivery boy and friend of Jonathan’s. Now Surfer Boy Pizza is available in select Walmart stores.
The pizza shop that first appeared in volume one stranger things Season 4, now sells four types of frozen pizza for fans to take home and enjoy. Flavors include Supreme, Pineapple Jalapeño, Pepperoni, and Multi-Meat.
Fans of the series can now have their own Surfer Boy experience at home, minus Argyle’s (Eduardo Franco) famously fast delivery. This isn’t the first time a major company has sold promotional materials for the stranger things. Prior to the release of Season 4, Walmart also sold a stranger things-themed cassette player. JanSport released a collaborative line of backpacks and MAC created a makeup collection inspired by Hawkins High and Upside Down. This kind of collaboration is causing a stir for the show and upcoming seasons, and delighting viewers of all interests. It’s unclear how long these Surfer Boy pizzas will be on store shelves, but they seem to be selling fast. Fans are encouraged to check Walmart’s website for inventory.
One of the series’ newest characters, Argyle is introduced as the best friend of Charlie Heaton’s Jonathan in Lenora, California. He works at the local pizza shop, Surfer Boy, and has the easy-going personality that many people think of when they think of 1980s teenagers. While Franco didn’t play a major role until the end of the first volume, he told Remezcla it was “an honor” to work with the rest of the band stranger things to water.
Argyle’s friendship with Jonathan has also carried over from the set into real life. Franco opened up about what it was like learning to golf with Heaton for the show. “Neither of us had ever played golf, so they took us to a country club and [we] I have to put on the role,” he said. “They gave us these incredible shorts and shoes. And I had the lightest lime green shirt.”
Aside from the amazing display of friendship stranger things between Argyle and Jonathan, fans have noticed that Heaton’s character seems to have been sidelined in book one of this season. Whether Heaton will play a bigger role stranger things Season 4 Volume 2 is yet to be discussed.
