The 2023 MotoGP season kicks off this weekend in Portimao. Here’s how and when to watch the Portuguese Grand Prix on Sunday 26th March.
Honda’s Marc Marquez will start the season opener from pole position after claiming a shock pole in qualifying on Saturday. He will be joined on the front row by reigning champion Jorge Martin (Ducati) and Pramac rider Jorge Martin.
Miguel Oliveira will start fourth after an excellent performance on his first weekend with RNF Aprilia, ahead of new KTM signing Jack Miller and Aprilia factory rider Maverick Vinales.
Ducati’s Enea Bastianini originally qualified sixth but was ruled out of Sunday’s race after breaking a bone in the sprint race. He joins Tech3 KTM rider Pol Espargaro on the sidelines.

The Portuguese GP gets underway at 14:00 local time (+2 GMT) at the Algarve International Circuit.
