Honkai: Starway is far from finished. Like his sibling Genshin Impact, the sci-fi fantasy RPG, will be regularly updated with new story quests, limited-time events, and characters. Players who have completed the latest quest in the Xianzhou Luofu might be nervous about what happens in the sequel. Luckily, they don’t have to wait too long for the next chapter of the saga.
Here’s what we know so far Honkai: Starway 1.1.
Is there a release date for Honkai: Starway 1.1?
HoYoverse has not announced the release date for Honkai: Starway 1.1. However, based on the three-week estimate for character banners, the 1.1 update should arrive around June 7th, 2023.
Jing Yuan’s banner, scheduled after the current Soul banner, will start on May 17, 2023. That’s three weeks before June 7th.
What are the Honkai: Starway 1.1 character banner?
The latest leaks suggest these two banners are coming in Honkai: Starway 1.1:
- Stage 1: Luocha (imaginary)
- Stage 2: Silver Wolf (Quantum), Yukong (4 stars)
Luocha makes sense mainly because he is part of the current story arc in Xianzhou Luofu. Silver Wolf appeared in the Honkai: Starway Tutorial at the beginning of the prologue. We also met Madam Yukong, Tingyun’s superior in the Skyfaring Commission, formerly in the arc of Xianzhou Luofu.
Team China, which is known for its Genshin Impact Leaks predicts Stellaron Hunters Kafka and Blade coming in the next update. Thereafter, Honkai: Starway 1.3 will apparently feature Fu Yuan and an alternate version of Dan Heng called Dan Heng IL.
What events are coming Honkai: Starway 1.1?
According to HKSRVN, These four events appear in Honkai: Starway 1.1:
- Cosmic Warfare
- Laboratory assistants in position
- Stellar Flare
- Boulder Town Super League
Cosmic Warfare and Stellar Flare both appeared in closed beta testing, so these events will likely be similar to their beta counterparts. Cosmic Warfare reportedly offers a free four-star Nihility light cone called Before the Mission Tutorial Starts, which you can earn by attending the event. This goes well with the banner for Silver Wolf, who is a Nihility character.
Stellar Flare and Boulder Town Super League seem to be that combat-based events based on their descriptions from the leaks. We’ll have to wait for HoYoverse to confirm more details.
What else is coming in? Honkai: Star Orbit 1.1?
Honkai: Starway could continue the story in the Xianzhou Luofu. The final story quest ends in the middle of the Xianzhou Luofu arc with a hint that the next part will appear soon.
A leak just broke in about a new weekly boss named Huanlong Honkai: Starway leaks subreddit so it might be related to the next part of the story. The boss wears a long, robe-like dress and has three different forms, which they feature in alternating dress colors. It is unclear whether these are element-related.
Honkai_Revenger, a Honkai: Starway Total account, shared a believable animated cutscene with Jin Yuan, Welt, Dan Heng IL and Huanlong. It has spoilersso watch at your own risk.
