SpongeBob Squarepants himself is coming to Iowa this summer

Those responsible for the big fan convention in Iowa have announced more exciting guests.

A festival of things cartoonss, TV, film, anime and more are returning to Des Moines this summer. Des Moines Comic Con will bring together fans from across pop culture over the weekend of June 2nd.
Taking place June 2-3 at Hy-Vee Hall at the Iowa Events Center, DMCC has announced even more exciting guests.
Ross Marquand out The Walking Dead; Jim Cummings, the voice of Winne Pooh; and even the sea sponge that lives under the sea, Spongebob himself, Tom Kenny, have all just been announced as guests of the event.
Kenny has been the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants for 24 years. You might also recognize him as the mayor’s voice from the Powerpuff Girlsand the Ice King from the Cartoon Network Show adventure time.
The early bird special for Des Moines Comic Con is coming to an end. Monday, March 20th is the last day that interested participants can take advantage of these ticket offers.
