Snapology introduces the new Discovery Center 2.0 model with the opening of its Amarillo, TX location

Snapology continues to invest in the leading STEAM brand and upgrade it with an enhanced retail-style concept

The opening is scheduled for August 20th. The new center, which is nearly 2,500 square feet, is owned by first-time franchisees Bobby and Kenna Payne.

Plans for the upscale Discovery Center model were announced earlier this year, shortly after Unleashed Brands acquired Snapology, to build on the already strong brand awareness. Now kids and parents can experience first-hand the new retail-style concept with expanded curriculum and branded offerings that only a hands-on learning center can offer kids. To engage kids through STEAM activities like coding, robotics, animation, play and interactive learning, the new center includes two separate classrooms and 17 creative play stations featuring LEGO® bricks, Minecraft, virtual reality and more.

The new Discovery Center also offers a “Passport” membership program that gamifies Snapology classes and incentivizes kids to learn essential STEAM skills, develop important social skills, and create recurring revenue for franchisees. Children take courses to earn stamps on their passports, which can be filled out to win loot and other prizes.
