Before stepping into the ring, Jake was seen laughing with Conor McGregor in the front row of the crowd.
It comes after Jake was spotted on the podium as a clip of the actors’ filming was released.
The Ambulance star displayed his stunning guns and roared for the crowd, displaying a hefty dose of macho angst.
In a video of the scene, Gyllenhaal’s character is heralded as “the challenger” as he leaps onto the stage and removes his sweatshirt, revealing his striking physique.
With a full six-pack, pronounced kisses and sculpted arms, the A-list heartthrob certainly looked handsome as he glared at his opponent.
Jake met Hieron in the middle of the stage, where they clapped silently before Gyllenhaal gave a fake slap.
The Brokeback Mountain star took the mic and said: “This motherfucker just makes me laugh because he’s a FUCKING JOKE! Let’s go. just give me the belt just give it to me Give it to me.’
Hieron’s character wasn’t too pleased, calling Gyllenhaal’s fighter “a bloody bum” and saying, “I promise you, that’s the only hit you get. I’ll put you to sleep tomorrow night.
In an interview with Good Morning America last year, Gyllenhaal spoke about the remake and the late Patrick Swayze, who starred in the original 1989 hit.

A classic updated: Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer in the Florida Keys and “soon discovers that all is not as it seems in this tropical paradise.” The late Patrick Swayze starred in the hit 1989 original film (pictured right)
‘You’ve got big shoes to fill,’ he said, ‘but Patrick was a friend when he was here. We did a movie together called Donnie Darko when I was quite young.”
Gyllenhaal was 21 when he made the 2001 sci-fi fantasy film with Swayze: “He was always so loving and lovable to me.
“I take all of that to heart when I’m playing the role and there are some things I take from him, but overall we’ve made a whole new film and I’m really excited about it.”
Although the film is a reimagining of the original project, he said there are still elements from Swayze’s version.
The Road House remake will be released in 2023.
