Shakira and Tom Cruise were spotted at the 2023 Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix over the weekend.
In photos are the Colombian singer and the Top Gun: Maverick Actors enjoyed Sunday’s event as part of a group. Shakira, 46, wore a green cropped corset top and large sunglasses, while Cruise, 60, kept it casual with a white polo. He also posed with Fast & Furious Actors Vin Diesel and Ludacris at the race.
The performance came a day after Shakira received the first Woman of the Year award at Billboard’s Latin Women in Music inaugural gala. During her acceptance speech, she seemingly shared her thoughts on her headline-grabbing split from ex Gerard Piqué.

“This has been a year of seismic change in my life, during which I felt more than ever – and very personally – what it means to be a woman,” Shakira told the audience upon accepting her award.
“It’s been a year since I realized that we women are stronger than we think, braver than we think, more independent than we’ve been taught,” she continued.
“Because what woman hasn’t forgotten herself at some point in her life because she’s looking for someone else’s attention and love? It’s happened to me more than once,” she added.
Shakira, who announced her split from the soccer star last June after first confirming their relationship in March 2011, then spoke about realizing her worth as a woman.
“But there comes a time in every woman’s life when she no longer depends on anyone else to love and accept herself for who she is,” she said. “A time when searching for someone else is replaced by searching for yourself.”
Shakira added, “A time when wanting to be perfect is being replaced by wanting to be authentic and finding someone faithful is less important than being true to yourself. “

Meanwhile, Cruise accepted the 2023 MTV Award for Best Performance in a Movie while flying a fighter jet on Sunday.
