Previously, we covered the Samsung Galaxy A14 release in Malaysia, and now the company has also quietly launched its 5G sibling. Packing in a few upgrades compared to the 4G variant at a slightly higher price point, read on to find out more Samsung Galaxy A14 5G.
According to Samsung Malaysia’s official website, the device will be powered by the MediaTek 700 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 5000mAh battery under the hood with support for 15W fast charging via the USB-C port.
The Galaxy A14 5G features a 6.6-inch PLS 90Hz LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It’s also an Infinity-V display, with the notch housing a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
On the back of the smartphone is a triple camera with 50 MP main + 2 MP macro + 2 MP depth. Other notable specs include dual SIM, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot with up to 1TB support, and Android 13 OS via One UI Core 5.
In Malaysia, the Galaxy A14 5G is available in Black, Dark Red and Silver in a unique 6/128GB configuration. While Samsung Malaysia’s website has not officially announced the price of the device, authorized retailers such as DirectD have already started pre-orders for the device and quoted the price as RM949.
