Dungeons & Dragos: Honor Among Thieves, starring Chris Pine, is a fast-paced action-adventure.

In addition to Chris Pine, the all-star cast includes Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head and Hugh Grant.

The film was directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who both co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Gilio.

The synopsis reads: A charming thief, Edgin (Chris Pine) and a group of unlikely adventurers go on an epic heist to recover a lost relic, but things go dangerously wrong when they run afoul of the wrong people.

Chris Pines Edgin had exceptional chemistry with Michelle Rodriguez’s character, Holga, which allowed for more resonance. Pine’s performance was funny and emotional and went all out. The visually stunning cinematography complemented its solid script, which was rich in character development. Its twists and turns are shocking yet clever. The CGI in the film is for overall effect.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary RPG to the big screen in a hysterical and captivating adventure.

The fight sequences were expertly choreographed and credits to the creators for their solid artistic vision. This film has elements of Game of Thrones meets Gladiator coupled with the atmosphere of Pan’s Labyrinth, which is pure bliss.

With “Dungeons & Dragos” filmmakers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley manage to create a whimsical world of fantasy, mystery, action and suspense. Hopefully this is the start of a franchise of their own.

Young actress Chloe Coleman, who plays Kira, Edgin’s daughter, gave the film its beating heart. It was a pleasant surprise to see Hugh Grant as the nefarious Forge unlike anything he’s ever played before. It was also nice to see Justice Smith’s growth and maturity as an aspiring wizard over the course of the film as Simon.
