Capcom aims to take one of its most iconic series and the fighting game genre to another level with the release of Street Fighter 6 on June 2nd. It’s been seven years since there was a brand new release in the series.

Street Fighter V has released multiple versions and expansion packs since its debut in 2016. June 2nd is a big day for the Street Fighter universe and fighting game community as SF6 marks the start of the next era of the series and the first release of the current generation of consoles.

The playable demo went live on April 20th on PlayStation 4/5 and other platforms on April 26th. The demo received rave reviews. GameRant’s Tim Lord wrote this in a post praising 9 things the demo does well:

“While visual improvements are nothing new when a game is getting a sequel, street fighter 6 has improved its battle arenas by leaps and bounds to create a more immersive combat experience than ever before. In the title’s demo, players can witness battles in the Genbu Temple, which features a backdrop of cherry blossoms and Japanese torii, revealing the sacred space where combatants challenge each other.”

SF6 pre-orders are available at various outlets, as well as on Playstation.com and Xbox Live. There are several options. Here’s a look at each StreetFighter.com offering.

There is a Standard, Deluxe, Ultimate, and Mad Gear Box Edition of SF6.

Those who pre-order the standard version will receive the game in digital or physical form and the standard pre-order bonus, which includes Outfit 1, color 10 for six starting characters:

Those who pre-order the digital version from the PS Store will receive 18 special player tiles and chat stickers.

Customers who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will receive everything from the Standard Edition, a 1-year character pass allowing them to download the DLC fighters released after launch, 4 additional character outfit colors: 3-10 and 4,200 ride tickets. The Ultimate Edition has everything in the Deluxe Edition plus: Costume for 4 additional characters: Outfit 2 (including colors 1-10), Costume for 4 additional characters: Outfit 3 (including colors 1-10), 2 additional stages and 7,700 ride tickets.

The Gear Box Collector’s Edition includes everything from the Deluxe Edition plus several physical items including a physical copy of the game, the MadGear Metro City Box, pop-up parade figures of Luke and Kimberly, an art book, sticker set and figures -Diorama boards :
