From Love is Blind to Too Hot to Handle, Netflix has always had a wide variety of programming for fans to binge-watch, but one thing the platform has been missing is a reality show starring queer contestants, and this show will change that.

A spin-off of the Netflix show The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, the new queer version of the show will see couples putting their love to the test as they join the reality show to try and meet new people meet and see if they have feelings for anyone else will prove stronger.
Here’s everything we know about the reality series.
Release date of The Ultimatum: Queer Love
The Ultimatum: Queer Love premieres on the streaming platform on Wednesday, May 24th. However, unlike most Netflix shows, it won’t come out as a binge release.
Instead, the show’s 10 episodes will be split into three parts, with episodes 1 through 4 appearing on premiere day, episodes 5 through 8 on Wednesday, May 31, and the final two episodes on Wednesday, June 7.
The Ultimatum: Queer Love Candidates
Five queer couples will appear on the show, each struggling to make up their minds about marriage. As in the original series, one partner is ready to tie the knot while the other isn’t so sure.
To finally decide whether to marry or move on, each couple is separated and paired with a person from one of the other pairings.

They then have just over eight weeks to try out their new partner before deciding what to do with their original other half.
The couples are Lexi and Raelyn, Yoly and Mal, Mildred and Tiff, Xander and Vanessa, and Sam and Aussie, with the former member of each couple ready to commit to one another for life.
The Ultimatum: Queer Love presenter
Netflix has confirmed JoAnna Garcia Swisher will be hosting the show, the actor has previously collaborated with the streamer on the show Sweet Magnolias.
Swisher has also appeared on shows such as Once Upon a Time, Freaks and Geeks and Gossip Girl throughout her long career.
The Ultimatum: Queer Love Trailer
Netflix released a trailer for The Ultimatum: Queer Love ahead of the show’s launch, and the first look clip teases what to expect for the five couples on the show.
From the trailer, it looks like the spin-off will be as dramatic as Netflix’s flagship series, with each couple facing different challenges during the relationship experiment.
