Elite Raids have appeared monthly during Rising Heroes, and May is no different.

Here’s everything that’s happening in Pokémon Go from May 8th to May 14th.

Ponyta is in the spotlight

This week’s Spotlight Hour takes place on Tuesday, May 9, 2023out of 6 p.m local time.

It will contain the Kantian form of Ponyta, which is a pure Fire type.

You need 50 candies to evolve it into Rapidash, making this a great opportunity.

Any Pokémon caught during this hour will also give you double Candy, making it even easier to get Rapidash.

The Sunshine Cup competes against the Go Battle League

Go Battle League turns on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 21 clock UK time.

The Ultra League with a max CP limit of 2.5k remains, but Little Cup is leaving this week.

This cup has a limit of 1.5,000 CP and only Normal, Fire, Grass and Ground types can participate.

There’s only one other Pokemon that’s excluded from this, and it’s fan-favorite Charizard.

Tapu Fini storm raids

Raid Hour takes place on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 out of 6 p.m local time.

Genesect is replaced by Tapu Fini this week to complete the Guardian Deities that have appeared in recent raids.

As part of the Raid Hour, it will be available in every single gym as a five-star raid.

Mega Scizor leaves the raids the next day and is replaced by Mega Pinsir.

A brave hero event begins

A brave hero begins on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10 am and end to Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 8 p.m local time.

Details about the event have not yet been released, but it appears to be related to last week’s An Instinctive Hero event.

Since both Spark and Blanche had specific research events based on them, it’s likely Candela’s turn.

Another elite raid is out in the wild

The Elite Raid takes place on Saturday May 13, 2023out of 11 clock, 14 o’clock And 17 o’clock local time.

Regidrago will return once more to be captured by fans in Elite Raids.

These occur in specific locations at three different times of the day and require a number of players to mine.
