UAE. Dubai International Airport (DXB) has opened the region’s first airport gaming lounge, Game Space, in the DXB Family Zone in Concourse B, Terminal 3.

The vibrant purple colors welcome guests to a whole new concept for the region

With 20 game titles including Fortnite, League of Legends, Gran Turismo 7, Crash Bandicoot and more, there are options for every taste, age and preference.

Passengers traveling to the region to experience football with the 2022 FIFA World Cup will also have plenty of opportunities to continue their search with top matches to immerse themselves in.

There are 40 play stations, each with 50-inch screens and ergonomic seating

Errol McGlothan, Co-Director of Game Space, said: “We are delighted to partner with Dubai Airports to bring an innovative new gaming experience to travelers at the world’s premier hub.

“We know that gaming is incredibly popular in the region, and Game Space will enable travelers to turn their airport wait time into game time.”

Dubai International has partnered with Republic of Gamers, which specializes in gaming hardware and software

Game Space is open 24 hours a day and offers food and drinks. It features a total of 40 play stations, each with 50-inch screens and side-by-side seating for solo or multiplayer play.

Eugene Barry, Executive Vice President Commercial, Dubai Airports, said: “We are delighted to be working with Game Space to open this new gaming lounge for our global guests, complementing our existing range of retail, foodservice and hospitality partnerships across the board Added an exciting new element to the airport.”

Key hardware for 20 of the 40 gaming stations is provided by Republic of Gamers (RoG), an ASUS sub-brand dedicated to developing gaming hardware and software.

Frédéric Briest, Co-Director of Game Space, said: “By working with strategic gaming partners like ASUS, we believe we have a unique collaboration to push the boundaries of what the lounge experience can be.

“We are excited to offer unique and fun moments for beginners and experienced players coming from Dubai.”

Each ROG Gaming Station features a PC with a ROG motherboard, along with a ROG 2K 240Hz monitor, ROG headset, ROG RGB mechanical keyboard, ROG mouse and ergonomic ROG gaming -Chair.

Access to Game Space is available to all travelers for a fee. Priority Pass, an independent airport lounge and experience program also offer playtime to its members. More card membership programs will be available soon.
