Top 10 Week of May 9th: Senior Year tops movie list, Welcome to Eden gets most views this week

Classes are back in session as Senior Year took first place on the English Films list with 55.94 million hours watched. The Rebel Wilson comedy appeared in the top 10 in 93 countries. Viewers were captivated by Our Father as the film debuted in second place with 23.87 million hours watched. The gripping documentary was in the top 10 in 55 countries. Voiced by Pete Davidson, Marmaduke climbed to third place with 15.03 million hours watched. The eponymous best-selling book, Along for the Ride, came in at number 4 with 13.31 million hours watched. With 12.62 million hours watched, Operation Mincemeat gave viewers a glimpse into the spy operation that changed the course of history. The film, starring Colin Firth and Matthew Macfayden, was in the top 10 in 18 countries.

In its second week, The Takedown maintained its top spot on the non-English film list with 32.37 million hours watched. The French comedy starring Lupin’s Omar Sy was in the top 10 in 91 countries and entered the most popular list after 10 days with 59.47 million hours watched. Spanish comedies Perfect Family, which entered the list with 21.59 million viewers, and Honeymoon with My Mother, with 6.45 million viewers, came in second and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Indic-Hindi-speaking western Thar ranked sixth with 4.27 million hours viewed.

It’s so hard to say goodbye… Ozark season 4 reigned as #1 in the UK TV chart with 48.62M hours watched. The series appeared in the top 10 in 68 countries. TheLincoln Lawyer debuted at number 2 on the list with 45.09 million hours watched. Based on the bestselling novels by Michael Connelly, the suspenseful drama was a top 10 in 74 countries. Workin’ Moms season 6 showed that these moms are ready to return to the office (or not). The comedy has been watched 19.19 million hours. Bridgerton Season 2 (16.02M hours viewed), The Circle Season 4 (14.12M hours viewed), Grace and Frankie Season 7: The Final Episodes (12.26M hours viewed), Selling Sunset (10 .86M hours viewed) and Anatomy of a Scandal (9.67M hours viewed) all stayed on the list. New arrivals included the long-awaited second season of Bling Empire with 10.75 million viewer hours and South African drama Savage Beauty with 10.63 million viewer hours.

Spanish drama Welcome to Eden topped the non-English language TV list with 62.49 million hours watched, making it the most-watched title on Netflix this week. The series was in the top 10 in 82 countries. The suspenseful Colombian series The Marked Heart was #2 with 28.93 million hours watched. Fans are still in love with Korean titles. The Business Proposal has been viewed 20.16 million hours and The Sound of Magic has been viewed 16.93 million hours.
