New Pokémon in Gen 9 include Baxcalibur, Frigibax’s final form, which evolves from Arcticbax at level 54. Baxcalibur is a Dragon/Ice-type Pokémon, a rare type found only in Kyurem and its variations. In addition to being a rare typing, Baxcalibur has a potentially uncommon inspiration and is considered pseudo-legendary. This term was created by fans to refer to Pokémon with three stages in the evolution line, which are often stronger than non-pseudo-legendary ones. The Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon group consists mostly of Dragon-type Pokemon, with the exception of Metagross.
