Daily Dose of Anime reminded fans on its Facebook page that the final episode of Ash and Pikachu will air on March 24th in Japan. Ever since the news of Ash and Pikachu’s final adventure broke in December 2022, fans have been counting down the episodes until they’ve said goodbye to two characters they grew up with for 25 years – and that time is coming soon .
In the preview of episode 11 of Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, Ash remembers how he always dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Master ever since he met Pikachu. The final episode teases Ash about reuniting with his old Pokémon friends like Butterfree, Bulbasaur, Charizard, and Squirtle. Ash even meets up with his old rival, Gary Oak. Although there are still many Pokémon in the world he hasn’t met, he’s looking forward to meeting more people and making more friends. Anipoke Fandom pointed out a touching change: Instead of telling fans at the end of the preview, “Everyone, go out and catch Pokémon,” Ash promises his best friend, “Pikachu, let’s stay together forever.”
