AAction fans woke up to a treat Monday morning when the latest trailer for the highly anticipated film, wakanda forever, landed on the internet. The stakes are higher than ever, and judging by the preview alone, the cast and crew will do a great job in not only honoring the memory of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, but in providing moviegoers with a one-of-a-kind film experience – four years in the making.


Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from encroaching world powers after the death of King T’Challa. As the Wakandans scramble to begin their next chapter, the heroes must join forces with Nakia and Everett Ross to chart a new path for their beloved kingdom.

So far, Black Panther Fans got their first glimpse of the new film with the release of the first trailer in July.

Little was released about the direction the film would take, but the teaser showed a world grappling with the loss of their beloved King T’Challa.

The trailer opens with a rendition of “No Woman No Cry” that segues into Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.” Black Panther: Wakanda Forever rejoins director Ryan Coogler with the all-star cast who first brought the fabled black land to screens in 2018.

Newcomers Mabel Cadena, Michael Coel, Alex Livinali and Dominique Thorne join the cast. While there was little information about the fate of Wakanda and the Black Panther’s mantle following the death of Chadwick Boseman, the mantle was passed down. Who wears it now is still open.

At Comic-Con in San Diego last summer, Coogler gave an opening speech by sharing a memory of the preview of the first Black Panther movie years earlier.

“Chad is no longer with us physically, but his spirit, his passion, his genius, his pride in his culture and the impact he had on this industry will be felt forever,” said Coogler. “We poured our love for Chadwick into this film. And we also present our passion to you in this film. It has a lot of action. It has humor. It’s a rollercoaster ride of a movie.”

Coogler said the film goes into new corners of both the MCU and Wakanda that haven’t been seen. That Black Panther The sequel will bring Namor the Sub-Mariner to the big screen for the first time.

This film will be the conclusion of Marvel’s phase four.
