Yesterday, the top 10 movies on Netflix in the US proved that popularity can last more than 15 minutes with little or no change in the titles that have appeared on the list and how they have been ranked. The list of the most popular TV shows on the platform only supported this idea with very similar results. While the most popular movies and TV shows on Netflix for Wednesday May 18, 2022 are certainly familiar again, there are a few newcomers to the list. Let’s see what’s new and trendy today!

Top 10 Movies on Netflix in the US – May 18, 2022

Whenever I see something dark, disturbing, and (most terrifyingly) fact-based, I like to follow it with something bright, funny, and (most importantly) fiction — this could be many US Netflix subscribers’ strategy for seeing the returning champion senior year (featuring the hilarious Rebel Wilson) and consistent runner-up Our father, one of the craziest true crime documentaries you will ever see. Apart from successful 90s movies Forrest Gump and Lucky Gilmore switch the eighth and ninth place, Many of the remaining films in today’s top 10 fall in the same order as yesterday – viz borego, Operation Mincemeat, The perfect family, Marmadukeand Den of Thieves. But for the first time in weeks US Marshals was dropped from the chart with Tim Burton’s 2005 adaptation Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in tenth place… for now.
