Multi-million dollar sale breaks Cliff’s record

A Cliffs home has broken a record for the best-selling property of all time in the group of seven luxury communities in North and South Carolina. The home, which even has a name, The Perch, is located in The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, in Arden, North Carolina, which Rachel Broadbent recently sold to Walnut Cove Realty for $6.7 million, according to Buncombe County closings ‘ Broadbent said. Walnut Cove Realty has another potentially record-breaking home on the market, with a listing for $12,995,000, also at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, at 214 Folkestone Lane in Arden, Broadbent said. For now, Broadbent said Canopy MLS holds the record for 2022 for the North Carolina market: a $7.2 million sale in Charlotte.

A Cliffs home has broken a record for the all-time best-selling property in the group of seven luxury communities in North and South Carolina.

The house, which even has a name, The Perch, at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Arden, North Carolina, was recently sold by Walnut Cove Realty for $6.7 million, according to Rachel Broadbent.

“The sale represents the most expensive single-family home transaction in The Cliffs at Walnut Cove and is also one of the five highest-priced home transactions in Buncombe County,” Broadbent said.

The modern 7,110 square foot hilltop home at 8 Deer Grass Court on Chestnut Mountain with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two half baths was featured in Carolina Home + Garden magazine.

Broadbent called it an “architectural marvel” and described it thus:
