Michael B. Jordan announces that Dreamville will perform the Creed III soundtrack

Over the weekend (November 20), actor, director and producer Michael B. Jordan sat at a ComplexCon(versations) panel with co-Creed III star Johnathan Majors to discuss her upcoming film, which is slated to premiere on March 3, 2023.

During the call, Jordan – who debuted his directing skills on the sequel – surprisingly revealed that J. Cole’s Dreamville imprint is producing the soundtrack for the third part of the series Believe Franchise.

“I’m probably going to get in trouble,” Jordan said, according to Complex. “Dreamville is executive producing this album.”

According to reports Creed III “follows the consequences of Adonis’ success in his career and family life. When his childhood friend and former boxing prodigy Damian (Jonathan Majors) reemerges from a long prison sentence, he’s determined to prove he deserves his shot in the ring.”

The synopsis continues, “The former friends face each other in the ring, although their history involves more than just a boxing match. Adonis Creed then faces the difficult decision of risking his future to fight Damian – a fighter who has nothing to lose.”

Michael B. Jordan describes the challenge of directing and starring in Creed III

Jordan took to his Instagram account back in October to reflect on his newfound role behind the camera.

“My directorial debut?!” he wrote on Instagram. “It still sounds crazy to say, but there isn’t a film that has been more personal to me and no film that I’ve felt more ready to direct. I am very excited to share the first trailer of Creed 3. Thank you to my cast and crew for working so hard to continue the legacy of the franchise.”
