Meet the TRU community via Zoom
A trusted haven for isolated artists, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) is now in its second year of uninterrupted weekly community meetings This Friday, having offered over 100 talks and unlimited camaraderie since April 17, 2020. TRU hosts its community meetings every Friday at 5:00 p.m. ET via Zoom to explore the creation of arts and theater in the time of COVID-19, and these crucial conversations will continue when theaters reopen. Ask questions, bring answers, be part of a community – it’s an opportunity to network with theater professionals and talk about how we’ve kept theater alive during the closure and what we’re doing now to keep going.

These gatherings are free to TRU members, but non-members are encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation — or consider joining TRU — to support the organization during these challenging times.
Friday, May 20th – A Conversation with Literary Agents: How the Shutdown Has Changed Business. In the room: Kate Bussert/Bret Adams Ltd., Bonnie Davis/Bret Adams Ltd., Katie Gamelli/Paladin Artists and Lucy Powis/A3 Artists Agency. The impact of closure on the role of literary agents: how contracts have changed and how the way of doing business in general has evolved. Will some of the changes remain even after live theater reopens? Has the shutdown affected the development of new works and has the role of an agent changed in any way?
