Måneskin takes the Metaverse by storm with latest rock ‘n’ roll concert

International rock stars maneskin have arrived in the Metaverse. On Friday March 17, members Damian David (Singing), Victoria De Angelis (Bass), Thomas Raggi (guitar) and Ethan Torchio (drum) flawlessly performed some of their biggest hits to date in iHeartLand in Fortnite and Roblox. The exclusive performance was hosted by iHeartRadio’s Hudson and also served as a celebration of the latest album hurry! which fell in January.

The band kicked off with one of their latest hit singles “GOSSIP”, which saw them teaming up with legendary Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello. Though Morello couldn’t join them in iHeartLand, Raggi easily handled the song’s two high-octane guitar solos. That’s probably because he took notes from Morello. “It was a really great experience. I’m always excited when I have the opportunity to learn from a great and incredible guitar master,” he said Weekly entertainment. “It was like a workout for me. It was incredible.” Fans watching in Fortnite enjoyed the lights and fireworks synchronized with the band’s exciting performance.

For her next song, Måneskin took it back to where it all began with a performance of “Beggin'”. Their cover of the 1967 Four Seasons song earned them the honor of representing their native country of Italy in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, which they went on to win. The single also propelled them to success in the States. The band made their US television debut with Beggin’ The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and they performed it again The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Back in the present, Måneskin ended their set with two songs from their new album hurry! BABY SAID – which made its live TV debut just last month – and THE LONEZEST. After the set, Roblox fans could go backstage to watch never-before-seen Måneskin content and take selfies with the band’s NPC (Non Player Character) on iHeartLand’s pink carpet presented by NYX Professional Makeup.
