Lewis Hamilton has ruled Formula 1 as its undisputed king for quite some time. With Mercedes at the helm, the 38-year-old built a dynasty with the Silver Arrows. But with the advent of the 2022 regulation reshuffle, the dominant force of the turbo-hybrid era felt it was falling short of its goals.
