Lenawee County reported 215 more COVID-19 cases this week

COVID-19 levels in the Lenawee County community remained moderate as of August 11, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  Mid-level counties are marked yellow on the map.  Community COVID low is highlighted in green and high is orange.

Lenawee County had little change in the number of new COVID-19 cases over the past week, keeping it at the community’s median COVID level, while readings in neighboring Michigan counties improved.

Lenawee County reported 215 cases and two deaths over the past week, a USA TODAY Network analysis of data from Johns Hopkins University shows. A week earlier it had reported 210 cases and zero deaths. 27,247 cases and 332 deaths have been reported during the pandemic.

Washtenaw and Monroe counties were moved back to moderate from the high community COVID level in the update released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention late last week. Hillsdale County improved from medium to low. Jackson County stayed at Medium.

In Ohio, Lucas County stayed at Intermediate, Fulton County moved from Intermediate to High, and Williams County stayed at High.
