It’s Sad’ – Tour Pro Responds to Bryson DeChambeau’s LIV Golf Form

Currently, the LIV Golf League has no points in the official world golf rankings, which has seen a number of players such as Patrick Reed, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka fall significantly down the world rankings.
In addition to the trio, Bryson DeChambeau is also affected, the former US Open winner fell out of the top 100 in the world for the first time in five and a half years. Now, in a reply to Twitter, a Tour pro has stated that it is “sad” to see his drop in form, particularly in the LIV Golf League.
In a Twitter post by @acaseofthegolf1 (opens in new tab)the site explained in a tweet: “It’s WILD what happened to Bryson. He is currently beating a player this week. Has no better result than 10th place in a 48-player no-cut tour. That was it Not so long ago he was the most talked about player in golf and he won. Now he’s basically just a side note and lost.”
In a reply to the post, which included two photos of DeChambeau’s previous results and his placement at the LIV Golf Tucson event, Eddie Pepperell expressed his sympathy for the hard-hitting American and said it was “sad” to see it .
Later, DP World Tour colleague Mike Lorenzo-Vera asked, “Is it?” Regarding Pepperell’s quotes, Eddie responded to Vera by saying, “I think so. He’s different and a great player who made some weird (probably bad) decisions.”

Though DeChambeau has seen a dip in form, there are a few reasons the American is taking a slump. Less than a year ago, DeChambeau underwent surgery on his hand, with the 29-year-old missing part of his season to recover.
In addition to injuries, the American sadly lost his father in November 2022, posting an emotional message on his social media. In the post, DeChambeau wrote, “Love you Dad. I’m sad to see you go but you’ve been through way too much pain in this life. I am so happy that you are at peace. Now you can be with me and watch me at every event I play. Thank you for being a great dad and see you in the next life. Life is short. Take every moment you can with your family and say I love you.”
Despite difficulties in the individual classification, his Crushers GC team secured the first event of the year at LIV Golf Mayakoba, with DeChambeau’s last round of three going towards the team result.
