The upcoming episode fear the dark will be a legacy sequel to the franchise and will star the Lambert family for the first time since Insidious: Chapter 2 in 2013. The film will see Dalton in college, ten years after the original, still grappling with the suppressed demons of his past. Wilson, Byrne and Simpkins will all return for part five.
Insidious: Fear the Darkness hits theaters on July 7, 2023 and will be the first entry in the franchise since Insidious: The Last Key in 2018.
