Inside Rylan’s huge mega mansion with swimming pool and chair in Big Brother’s diary room
As TV favorite Rylan Clark prepares to present this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, all eyes are on Liverpool to see what delightful musical performances will soon grace our screens.
But away from the turquoise carpet and annual Euro-pop extravaganza we all know and love, Rylan likes to relax at his stunning Essex home, which even boasts its own Big Brother diary chair, in a nod to his reality show- Past.
Rylan competed on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 and was so popular with fans that he even managed to land a presenting deal with spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit On The Side until the show was finally canceled in 2018.
Combining Rylan’s extravagant tastes with a touch of his own personality and sense of humor, the five-bed house is the perfect escape from his presentation duties.

A standout feature in Rylan’s house is his very own journal room entrance with LED Big Brother Eye doorbell. In the room itself is the now iconic chair from 2013’s Celebrity Big Brother series – a series he went on to win!
Last year, Rylan shared how special the space was for him he gushed: “It’s my new favorite room in my house. We all know how obsessed I am with Big Brother and I have nothing better to do with my time so I built a journal room.
“It also looks a lot like the diary room – which is pretty exciting?!”
Elsewhere in the house, Rylan’s cheeky personality continues to shine in his eccentric design choices, with several items providing perfect talking points for fans and guests alike. Stylish trinkets on display include a large, life-size teddy bear and even a framed Union Jack jacket that Rylan wore during his The X Factor days.
Aside from the more unique ways of decorating his home, it’s clear that Rylan has a flair for classic opulence, with his dining room in particular having a drastically different vibe than some of the other rooms in the property. Furnished with plush chairs with red velvet backs, Rylan regularly enjoys working at the table, with the space also featuring a pink glitter wall and eye-catching light fixtures.
Rylan also previously revealed a stunning new living room makeover with a little help from furniture company DFS. Taking to social media, Rylan shared the collaboration – and the end result – and revealed he chose a Joules Ashwicke sofa in royal blue.
He wrote: “Love a little royally! I love how the color pops against the dark walls. I love anything black or gold as I think it adds a touch of class to any room and to me no room is complete without a scented candle so they are a must!”
Upon closer inspection of the room, fans at home can also see that Rylan has a CD collection framed on his wall, as well as e.gEnjoy a whole array of colorful throw pillows to complete the cozy room. A stylish lamp and shelf also help pull the space together into a chic but functional space.

In a cheeky shot shared by the star, the game was seen on a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, while a green triangle-patterned rug completed the look.
Another standout space in Rylan’s home is his ultra-modern kitchen, which features an angular white kitchen island surrounded by chic gray-effect units and built-in appliances. As well as having an induction hob and double oven, the kitchen has its own wine fridge and lots of natural light to open up the space.
It’s not just the interiors of the property that are impressive, as Rylan previously saluted his gardener Josh while unveiling a shot of his immaculately presented garden. In a shot shared by the star, fans at the home can see a large, walled patio area with outdoor seating, while plenty of flat lawn surrounds it alongside a conspicuous tree.
As well as his dreamy garden, Rylan is even the proud owner of his own swimming pool, the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of a long day.
And as if swimming wasn’t enough, Rylan has also set up his own mini-gym at his house, complete with both a treadmill and an elliptical trainer, to keep him in tip-top shape for his numerous TV and red carpet appearances.
