KOLKATA, March 19 (PTI) A fire broke out at a film studio in the Tollygunje area here on Sunday morning, but there were no reports of casualties, officials said.

A fire official said three firefighters rushed to the NT 1 studio site to control the fire, which broke out around 6 a.m.

“The fire was sighted around 6 a.m. in a burn spot on the studio premises, but it did not spread to the shooting ranges and at that moment there was no one in the burn spot. Three firefighters rushed to the scene and the flames were contained then postponed over the next three hours. It hasn’t spread,” the official said.

He said the cooling process in some fire spots is currently underway, but the fire has been extinguished.
