When it comes to the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday laptop deals, this HP Specter x360 16-inch (16t-f100) has to be at the top.
This new 2022 laptop normally costs $1,650 and is priced at $1,050. But if you add a coupon STOCKING10 during checkout, the price drops below $1,000 to just $935.
What’s the catch?
There is no.
For this configuration, the Specter comes with a gorgeous 16-inch, 3K+ (3072×1920), multi-touch capable, IPS, low blue light, 400 nit display. Yes it is Not Full HD non-touch or a low-end specification. It also has gauzy bezels with a 91% screen-to-body ratio. Hi!
The processor isn’t a wimp either, because it is 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H (4.7 GHz) with a whopping 14 cores and 20 threads. This is the “Big Boi” laptop processor, denoting the 45W power consumption and typically found in workstations and gaming laptops.
But 8GB of RAM, right? nope. It has 16GB LPDDR 4 and a fast and big one 512GB PCIe SSD.
The only thing this model doesn’t have is a discrete GPU. Instead, you get native Intel Iris Xe (you can configure this laptop with an Intel Arc A370M graphics card with 32GB RAM if you want).

The increase in Iris Xe graphics is two-fold: first, you get the sub-$1,000 price point, and second, you get better battery life. Basically, this is a laptop that’s ideal for those who want a large, high-quality, high-resolution display and an immensely powerful CPU. It should be great for photo editing, working in Microsoft Office and definitely watching movies and videos.
Also, one of the highlights from personal experience is the fantastic 5 megapixel HP webcam, which is one of the best I’ve ever used. It’s sharp, has vibrant colors, can blur your background, and HDR makes it perfect for meetings and those who video conference frequently.
And the best? This is an x360 laptop that converts to a tablet for freehand drawing, and you get the HP MPP2.0 rechargeable tilt pen right out of the box, so you’ll be drawing and taking notes on day one.
For ports, you get all the good ones, including two Thunderbolt 4s, a Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a headphone/mic jack, and even a microSD card reader. There’s also Bluetooth 5.2 and Intel Wi-Fi 6E, the latest and greatest.
There’s also a massive 83Wh battery, so it should get you through most of the day.
Overall this is a great looking laptop and for $935 you get a lot of computers. Don’t hand them over.
