The Brooklyn Nets (39-31, sixth in the Eastern Conference) host the Denver Nuggets (47-24, first in the Western Conference) at the Barclays Center on Sunday for the second and final game between the two teams of the regular season. Brooklyn leads the regular-season series 1-0.
In the first matchup, a 122-120 win by the Nets on March 12, Brooklyn guard Mikal Bridges scored 25 points to lead his team in points standings. Center Nikola Jokic had 35 points, 20 rebounds and 11 assists for his 27th triple-double of the season. The game turned in the third quarter as the Nets edged the Nuggets 37-18. Denver came back in the fourth quarter, narrowing to 122-120 before Jokic missed the potentially game-winning three-pointer.

Brooklyn comes into this game after losing their last two games to the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Sacramento Kings. In both games, the Nets had a quarter where the opponent outplayed them completely to either get back in the game or turn the fight into a blowout.
Denver comes into this game after losing two of their last three games to the Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks. The Nuggets haven’t been as dominant lately as they have been for most of this season as their defense appears to have taken a step back.
