As of yesterday, FromSoftware released a trailer for their latest update in elden ring. This update brings the new Colosseum update, a brand new feature for players to experiment with. This guide tells you everything you need to know about the latest update and how to start it elden ring Colosseum DLC.

The update for elden ring falls on December 7th. It falls at 1am ET, 4am PT and 9am GMT. The servers will be down for about an hour.

There are three coliseums in elden ring which you can fight and which will now all open their gates to you once the free update is released.

Here’s where to find the Colosseum and how to start the DLC.

Where are the coliseums in Elden Ring?

As mentioned earlier, there are three coliseums in elden ring. One in Limgrave, one in Caelid and one in Leyndell.

To find the Coliseum in Limgrave you need to go to the North Shore. The best way to access it is by going to the Warmaster’s Shack mercy page. Once there, continue north under the bridge until you find the doors of the Colosseum.

Finding the Caelid Colosseum is very easy. Find the Deep Siofra Well being raised to the surface and follow the chasm north past the two giant archers. You will see the Great Jar NPC sitting in front of the Coliseum with his arms crossed.

There are two ways to reach the Leyndell Colosseum, depending on how early you get to Leyndell. If you’ve just defeated the Draconic Tree Sentinel, you’ll need to access it through the West Capital Rampart Sanctuary. You then have to do a parkour to climb the trees and stairs to get up the cliff to the Colosseum.

However, if you’re in the late game and defeated Maliketh at Crumbling Farum Azula, the terrain is much easier to work. You’ll still start from the same spot, but instead the terrain will be a slope that you can walk up instead, so you can just follow the scenery all the way to the Colosseum.

How to start the DLC

All you have to do to start the DLC is simply download the update. It’s that simple. Once you’ve done that, the four Colosseums will open their doors to you.

There are two types of battles you can participate in. United Combat and Combat Tor deals.

United Combat is when two teams fight each other. This is perfect if you want to team up with your friends and fight other enemies.

Battle Trials is when everyone is on their own and you all fight together to see who comes out on top.

To start the battle, touch the effigy of Marika in the coliseum and it will open the menu where you can edit your settings. You can choose whether to allow necromancy, whether random people should join, and which venue you want. You can also choose how many players to join.

As simple as that! Have fun and engage in happy collaboration.
