How to complete the challenge and get a free reward

The third Fortnite Let Them Know Challenge is live. Today is Day 3 and similar to the previous two days, players must complete a simple task to earn points and progress further in this seven-day challenge marathon. However, today’s task (November 23, 2022) is pretty easy.

Unlike the previous two challenges that tested players’ skills in combat, this one is more relaxed. To complete the Day 3 quest, players just need to earn points by fishing.

Once 30 fish have been caught, players are entitled to 50,000 XP. Additionally, those who compete in the Fortnite Let Them Know Challenge for the first time are eligible to receive the Trophy Time emoticon by securing a point.

A step-by-step guide to catching fish for the Fortnite Let Them Know Challenge (Day Three)

1) Land on the landmark called Launchpad

To make this Fortnite Let Them Know Challenge as easy as possible, the first step is to land on a landmark called the Launchpad. For players who have been here since the beginning of Chapter 3, finding it will not be a problem. The location is iconic as the Seven used it to store and launch reconnaissance missiles.

For those having trouble finding them, an easy way to locate this landmass is to search the easternmost part of the main island. Launchpad is the largest single island in the archipelago just off the east coast of the mainland.

For more visual reference, it’s the island that The Driftwood is anchored over. A floating platform can also be seen above the island. This should make it easier to spot. Still, it’s recommended to mark the location on the map before jumping out of the Battle Bus to save time searching and avoid confusion.

2) Secure the island

Once you’re on the ground, it’s best to make sure the area is clear of enemies before starting the Fortnite Let Them Know Challenge. Since fishing takes time and requires a little attention, shelling significantly delays the process.

With this in mind, players should loot The Driftwood for better weapons/items and seal off the area as soon as possible. When other enemies land, they should be dealt with quickly to keep them from arming up and fighting back.

Alternatively, if players do not wish to engage in combat, they should wait for a match where the Battle Bus route begins on the western edge of the island. That way, when it reaches Launchpad, the chance of enemies jumping off that late is minimal.

3) Find fishing rods and/or harpoon guns and start fishing

Once the area is free of threats and players have enough supplies/loot, they can start the Let ‘Em Know Fortnite Challenge. The first thing you need to do is search fishing barrels for fishing rods and/or harpoon guns. Although the latter is harder to find, players can complete the challenge sooner.

However, if luck doesn’t favor players, they will have to make do with fishing rods. Since the challenge does not dictate a specific fish, players can catch whatever they want to progress the challenge. With numerous fishing holes surrounding this one landmark, it shouldn’t take long to complete the task at hand.
