You cannot let your child age in The Sim’s 4 manually. It will take them five game days to grow into toddlers. Unlike toddlers or babies, the infant’s age cannot be forced. The infant has five milestones, each taking almost a day to complete. The milestones are Fine Motor, Firsts, Grob Motor, Life and Social that they must meet before aging.
Once the child completes all five milestones, they will automatically age into a toddler. The infant’s parents are notified with a prompt informing them of the transition.
