The third edition of the Shaw Classic will be held on August 13-14, 2022 at the Budweiser Center in Loveland, CO. It will feature 15 strongmen clashing in the return of epic events like the Hummer Tire Deadlift, as well as an unprecedented event in elite strongman competition: the Car Leg Press.

Raise to win
With Tom Stoltman eliminated from the 2022 Shaw Classic, a podium position is now available where he likely would have been. With all the event coordination Shaw has taken on to produce the Shaw Classic, it’s not clear he’ll be at his best when the lights are on him. However, events are playing to his strengths and he could produce a winning performance like in 2020.
Mitchell will certainly aim to retain his title, which is remarkable considering how much more significant this competition has become just three years into its existence. Still, guys like Mitchell Hooper and Kevin are looking for their first Open division premier event wins of their careers. We’ll see who comes out on top in the Car Leg Press and claims victory in Colorado.
