Here’s how to watch Sunday’s #1 Purdue Basketball vs. Michigan State

WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana — Purdue basketball No. 1 welcomes Michigan State to Mackey Arena on Sunday after facing the Spartans once on the road in the past two weeks. The game is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS.
The Boilermakers won 64-63 at the Breslin Center, a game in which junior center Zach Edey posted a career-high 32 points and scored the game-winning goal with 2.2 seconds left.
“We know it’s going to be a tough game for us,” said Purdue coach Matt Painter. “These athletic guards can play for themselves and other people. And then their interchangeable pieces like Malik Hall and [Joey] Hauser to keep up with their size.
“I’m just trying to do a good job of getting out of rotations as much as possible and having a good rebound balance. I think that will be key for both teams.”

Get to know the trainers
Matt Painter, Purdue: Painter is in his 18th season as Purdue Basketball’s head coach. He owns an overall record of 404-193 with the program, including a 203-116 mark in the Big Ten. With a 73-55 win over Nebraska on Jan. 13, Painter became only the fifth coach in Big Ten history to have 400 career wins while at conference school, along with Bob Knight, Tom Izzo, Gene Keady and Lou Henson.
Painter began his career as a head coach in Southern Illinois, where he led the team to the top of the Missouri Valley Conference in the 2003-04 season with a 25-5 aggregate record and losing just one game in league games.
Tom Izzo, Michigan State: Izzo is in his 28th season at the helm of the Spartans. He is the most successful head coach in Big Ten men’s basketball history with a career record of 680-274 with the program. During his illustrious coaching career, Izzo has led Michigan State to eight NCAA Final Four appearances, including a national championship in 2000.
Under Izzo, the Spartans have won 10 Big Ten regular-season titles and six Big Ten tournament championships. Michigan State has never set a loss record during its tenure.
