Here’s how to watch Moving On, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin have proved they’re quite the couple, so you can see them working together once again in the new film Go on sure has a lot of interest. With that in mind, we’ve put together what you need to know about watching Go on at the moment. Is streaming? Is it only in the theater? And if so, where?
This is the second new film in 2023 to co-star Fonda and Tomlin following their football comedy 80 for Brady. The two Hollywood legends are also known for starring alongside each other in the ’80s classic 9 to 5 and more recently the Netflix comedy Grace & Frankie.

How to watch Moving On in the cinema
Go on received a limited release in theaters in the United States beginning March 17. Although this is a larger limited release than many others, it runs in approximately 850 theaters.
You can see if any of your local theaters have this Go on by visiting the theater’s website or fandango (opens in new tab)who will give you everything Go on Showtimes near you.
At this time, Go on has no scheduled UK release date.
If you’re considering heading out to see Go on or other movies because of the ticket price, something you might want to look into is cinema subscriptions and membership offers. These programs, offered by numerous theater chains in the US and UK, offer discounted, free or contingent movie tickets each month for a subscription fee.

The theater will be the only place to watch Go on now that the film isn’t available to stream or digitally on-demand as of March 17.

Go on is a revenge comedy that sees the characters of Fonda and Tomlin reunite years later in pursuit of the seedy ex-husband of one of their longtime friends. Here is the official synopsis:
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin star as estranged friends who reunite to exact revenge on their recently deceased best friend’s stubborn widower. Along the way, Fonda’s character reunites with her true love, while each woman learns to make peace with the past and with each other. “
Also in the cast are Malcolm McDowell (A clockwork orange) and Richard Roundtree (Wave). Paul Weitz wrote and directed the film.
