HBO Max Schedule May 20-26 March: New series and films
The fourth and final season of successor is the crown jewel of the HBO Max programming for March 20-26.
On Sunday, March 26, the streaming service will release the successor Premiere Season 4. The series follows the story of the Roy family – Logan Roy and his four children – who control one of the largest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world. The series traces their lives as they reflect on what the future holds for them when their aging father begins to retire from the company.
“In season four, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson draws closer,” reads the season synopsis. “The prospect of this harrowing sale provokes existential angst and family cleavage among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will be like once the deal is finalized. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs a future in which their cultural and political weight is severely limited.”
The series stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Alan Ruck, Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook. Also Nicholas Braun, Hiam Abbass, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Rob Yang, J. Smith-Cameron Dagmara Dominczyk, Arian Moayed, Justine Lupe, as well as David Rasche and Fisher Stevens.
successor Showrunner Jesse Armstrong created the Emmy-winning series and also served as executive producer. The executive producer roster includes Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, as well as Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy and Will Ferrell.
